APPEARANCE&&PERSONLAITY
DESCRIPTION ::
PLAYED BY ::
PERSONALITY ::
theREDHEAD :: Lily has always had quite the temper, she somewhat enforces the ‘all redheads have bad tempers’ stereotype. Annoying her is like setting fuel to an already lit fire, even though she is general nice to most people, there are some she saves her anger issues for. Let us take Potter for example, his arrogant ways and assumptions that everyone is going to bow to him, give her a reason to blow up at him almost daily. The fact that he regularly picks on her best friend does not help at all, she finds it disgusting that he actually thinks she would go out with him.
theRULEBREAKERwithin :: Always the goody two shoes, she is scandalized when she sees someone breaking the rules, although she is a little lenient with herself when it comes to the Statute of Secrecy, never would she let Potter know, but she has received a few warning letters for her momentary breech of the rules.There isn’t anything fake about her; Lily has that special gift to tell it like it is.
theACADEMIC :: She is exceptional in school, earning top marks in all classes, especially potions. (not that Sev’s help wasn’t wanted... just not needed) Lily is probably one of the brightest girls in the school,
theCONFUSIONfactor :: Lily is very confused at this particular moment; she has had feelings for Severus Snape for a long while. However his love of the dark arts and his loyalty to the Slytherins has brought her to this point of confusion.
theTEACHER’SPET :: As professor Slughorn described her "Lily Evans. One of the brightest I ever taught. Vivacious, you know. Charming girl. I used to tell her she ought to have been in my House. Very cheeky answers I used to get back too." She was probably a favourite of most teachers. Being bright and helpful earned her big in the teacher department but she never took advantage of it.
theinnerREBEL :: Contrary to some beliefs, Lily isn’t at all ‘up tight’, she just knows when it’s time for fun, and when it’s time for work. She never hesitates to stick up for someone when it is needed, which leads to many confrontations with the Marauders, specifically Potter and Black. Her friends usually drag her to doing some rebellious things, and she could consider herself the girl version of Remus Lupin for that. Although she has to admit she quite enjoys their exploits
thePLAINgirl :: Lily has many friends, and her friendly but ‘knows what she wants’ personality gets the attention of many boys also. Just because she is mean to Potter doesn’t mean she has to be mean to everyone else. When she firsts meets someone she is amazingly nice. Only the people who deserve it get the short side of her temper.

LIFE&&HISTORY
HISTORY::
On a bright January morning, Mr. and Mrs. Evans had their second child, a beautiful red headed little girl. Her mother's family had a tradition of naming their children after flowers, so she named her first child Petunia and she named her second Lily. Lily's childhood was what you could call normal, well most of it was anyway. Her parents were very sweet people who would support Lily in anything she did and Lily always had her big sister to take care of her. She lived near spinner's end, eventually meeting a very strange boy who told her something...peculiar. He told Lily she was a witch. Although she was offended at first, she understood what he meant after really, because she had noticed her power. Lily had shown signs of magic since she was a little girl, even learning to control it as she grew older and closer to her 11th birthday when she got her letter from Hogwarts. Her first sign of magic was pretty much her first sign of her wicked temper; Petunia had stolen her doll, and refused to give it back. So Lily had made Petunia’s hair catch fire. It was the first of many outbursts to come in the name of Lily’s stuff.
As soon as her letter came and Petunia heard of the school, she was instantly jealous. Of course she didn’t say that, she chose to act on it different. For a little bit of time, Petunia was quiet about Lily’s ‘freak’ school, but after Lily and Severus found a letter addressed to Petunia from Hogwarts' headmaster kindly rejecting her, Petunia voiced her opinion and called her sister a freak, and wanted nothing to do with her. It wasn't easy for eleven year old Lily to hear, and she tried to bridge the distance between them constantly. Although her parents were proud, she couldn’t stand that her sister thought badly of her. She tried to get her sister’s approval with no luck, before she sorely gave up. The strange boy who once told her the truth about herself, became her best friend once her sister had abandoned her. He told her everything about the wizarding world, and told her something that would ensure his place in her heart for a long time: He told her that it didn't matter she was muggleborn, even though it went against all he was ever led to believe.
When she arrived at Hogwarts, she instantly fell in love with it. Everything about it enchanted her so that even its faults were beautiful. Her academic career started well and she picked up spells and enchantments quickly. But Lily’s life at Hogwarts wasn’t only school. In Lily's fourth year, her father developed a muggle's disease and tragically died. The summer had been terrible for her, she usually couldn’t wait to get home, but she found herself missing Hogwarts more than ever. All through her heartache, she found herself being the target of a very popular and pompous boy's affection... or what she thought of as obsession, which is what more thoroughly describes this. James Potter has resorted to public displays of what could not be called affection towards her. The fact that he picked on people might have wooed other girls, but Lily would have preferred flowers, thank you very much. Not that flowers would have made much of a different for James Potter.
Lily has sworn out ever going out with James Potter. Hate is a strong word... but she really really doesn't like him.

RP SAMPLE ::Little Lily Evans’ dark hair swished behind her wildly as she ran out of the castle, trying to hide her weakness by covering her face. Consumed only by thoughts of ‘he had lied to me... it really does matter’. The truth was being muggleborn was filthy to them. Severus had assured her not long ago that it wouldn’t matter at all; she would be welcomed. Now every time she was around him she was subjected to their torment and insults. She wiped the tears from her face; she didn’t like feeling weak and filthy.
Lily took a raggedy breath, why should she even be upset over this? Would she let them walk all over her like that? No. From this day on she would be herself again... stupid Slytherins didn’t know what they were talking about. She was twice the witch they would ever be! and she vowed to show them...
The alarm clock rang loudly on Lily’s dresser, interrupting her dream, which was more like a memory anyway. Her eyes fluttered opened and a smile began to play on her lips, it was a typical snow white morning [something she had told her friends often, earning confused looks from them every time]. The opened window revealed that the birds were singing, the weather was beautiful and it was warm enough to just sit by the lake and chat. Of course they couldn’t do that today, they had classes.
Being at Hogwarts had been the best experience of Lily’s life, she was consumed by the magic, and woke up every morning ready to learn. Even now after 6 years, she was still like that little muggle girl she was before, amazed by everything magic.
“Get up girls, it’s Hogwarts time!” she yelled, a small smile playing on her lips as her dorm mates groaned at the early mornings. It didn’t take long for Lily to get ready, throwing on her Hogwarts robes and waving her wand at her hair so it fell into her usual neat curls was all she had to do to get herself ready, apart from bathroom rituals that is.
The memory she had been dreaming was pushed farther into her head as she descended from her dormitory to make her way to breakfast. The common room was almost empty except for a few boys, who named themselves the marauders. Oh Joy. Lily thought, sarcastically. She usually liked waking up relatively early and waiting for her friends at the Gryffindor table, because truthfully they took too long to get dressed. However, James Potter had realized that she tended to wake earlier than the rest.
”No.” she said firmly, before Potter had a chance to say a word.
“Oh come on Evans, give me a shot... you know you want to.” he said in his deeper, clearly fake voice, his pompous grin plastered to his face. She could not imagine what he was thinking...did he really think she was agree to go out with him when she spends half her day avoiding him? His tactic seems to be the ‘annoy her till she says yes’ sort of way to go.
Lily’s lips pierced, she hadn’t even stopped walking and was now out of the common room with him following her. ”Believe me Potter, that is the last thing I would want to do. I’d much rather snog the whomping willow than even get close enough to touch you.” Lily said coolly, trying not to pay attention to him as he tried stepping in front of her to interrupt her stride.
He successfully stepped in front of her, making her come to a halt, and she stood glaring furiously at him. “Potter if you do not want to be hexed into oblivion, I suggest you step out of my way...”
“If you go out with me I will... just say yes... ”
Lily eyes his hand moving to his hair and she rolled her eyes. “NO! how many times do I have to say it to get it through you thick, bullying skull? I don’t want you and I never will!” she said, her eyes flashing dangerously.
However, Potter smirked, “Alright then, see you at breakfast!”
He said it brightly, and that meant it wasn’t the end. Lily let out a loud groan and pushed him aside, marching away with her head held high.
Oh how she loath that Potter.
In her educated opinion, It wasn’t like her even made an effort because hexing her friend and picking on the helpless sure wasn’t her idea of the perfect man. If he wanted to win her over... he’d have to change. Which she severely doubted he would... so there we go. Lily and James would never ever be a couple.
